Lindsay E. Jones, CEO of CAST, collaborates globally to design learner-centered, flexible, and accessible education systems rooted in Universal Design for Learning. Previously, she was President and CEO of the National Center for Learning Disabilities, leading advocacy for individuals with learning disabilities. A former attorney in Arizona, she advised schools and families on special education matters and is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit, and Arizona State Bar.

Dr. Chase is a distinguished educator with nearly 3 decades of experience. Between 2014 and 2021, she led Greenburgh CSD as Superintendent. In July 2021, Dr. Chase assumed the role of Superintendent for Westbury UFSD. Outside of her district responsibilities, Dr. Chase is a published author, public speaker and host of the educational show, "Strictly Education with Dr. Tahira." She also lends her expertise as a consultant. Additionally, Dr. Chase is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Dr. Ebony Terrell Shockley is a higher education administrator and STEM/ESOL educator. She is also a children’s book author and researcher studying under-represented groups and their teachers in science, exceptional education, and literacy education contexts. She has more than twenty years of experience as an educator and leader.

Miguel Castillo is a national keynote speaker, author and an advocate for migrant and multilingual education programs. As a former principal, director and executive director he now advocates, provides training and support, coaches leadership, and works with school and district transformation systems to improve student outcomes. Miguel Castillo is currently Chief Migrant Education Advocate and has just finished his 3rd publication titled Finish the Journey: A Migrant Student's Journey.

Adria Klein, Ph.D., is the Director of the Comprehensive Literacy Center at Saint Mary’s College of California. A professor emerita of reading education at CSU San Bernardino, she chaired the Department of Elementary and Bilingual Education and was Associate Dean. She helped develop the Reading, Writing, and Technology Projects in California.Dr. Klein works with school districts around the United States and on five continents including an MIT project in China to provide MLL support.

Angela is the Community Founder at Seesaw. She has over 15 years of elementary teaching experience and tested the earliest versions of Seesaw before launch. Angela works directly with educators worldwide to build connections, elevate stories, and inspire classroom innovation. She presents on technology, student voice, and choice to global audiences. Angela’s passions include literacy and integrating technology to help students communicate, create, and share their learning.

Andrea is a Digital Learning Specialist in Garland ISD, part of a small but mighty team supporting 70+ schools, 8,000 staff, and over 52,000 students. Formerly an elementary teacher and Interventionist, she supported both students and staff in integrating technology. With a Master’s in Educational Technology and Leadership, Andrea now leads professional development and coaches educators in effective tech integration.

Vito J. Borrello is the inaugural Executive Director of the National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement (NAFSCE), appointed in 2014. Under his leadership, NAFSCE has advanced family, school, and community engagement through practice, policy and research to improve child development and student achievement. He has held national advisory board roles, including Scholastic, National PTA, MAEC Center for Education Equity and Department of Education Family Engagement Partners.

Lilly Jensby is a Digital Learning Specialist in Plano ISD. Her teaching experience includes elementary and ESL teacher, Math Specialist, and Instructional Coach, prior to joining the DLT in 2017. She is a firm believer that digital integration fosters creativity, critical thinking, and innovative practices that prepare students for success. Lilly is a Google Certified trainer and has her IT/Technology Director certification. She loves traveling and spending time with her 3.5 grandkids.

Dr. Tom Masterson is the Executive Director of Schools for Springfield Public Schools in Missouri. He oversees 10 elementary schools, focused on supporting each building principal with leading their campus.

Dr. Masterson received his doctorate from the University of Missouri. He was recognized as a member of the 2024 40 Under 40 class for the Springfield community. Dr. Masterson was also recognized as the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs fan of the year and was able to attend the Super Bowl.

Susan Uram is the Director of Educational Technology for Rockford Public Schools in Rockford, Illinois. As a former classroom teacher, instructional coach and curriculum Dean, Susan now works to ensure teachers not only have digital tools to enhance learning but that they know how to use them in a meaningful way.

Liz Chavez is an educator from Green Bay, WI where she's worked for over 15 years! She started out as an Elementary Music Teacher and eventually, transitioned to becoming a Technology Integrator after completing her Master's Degree in Educational Technology. Outside of work, Liz is a mom and partner in a house full of boys (human and fur), directs a youth choir ages 6-11, loves to sing and dance, practices the martial arts style of Taekwondo, is an avid fisherman, and enjoys travel!

Shelly has been in education for over 20 years. She began as a high school math teacher and in 2020 she became a Technology Integrator for the Green Bay Area Public Schools. Shelly is married and has two teenage daughters who are a freshmen and senior. Both of them are 3-sport athletes, so she spends a lot of time attending their sporting events. In her "free time" Shelly enjoys camping and spending time with friends.

Grace Flores Osio has been an educator for the past 28 years. In addition to her degree in Special Education from UP Diliman (magna cum laude), Teacher Grace is a trained educational therapist and former instructor for the National Institute for Learning Development in the Philippines, having completed her post-graduate studies in educational therapy in the Philippines and the United States. She has a diploma in Teaching Early Childhood from Helsinki International Schools and is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Public Affairs with a major in Education Management. She has previously worked as an elementary classroom teacher and a special educator. At present she serves as principal for a private school in the Philippines.

Tiffany Wood is an Instructional Technology Facilitator with over 11 years of experience in educational technology and professional development. She specializes in helping PK-12 educators integrate technology into their classrooms to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. She is an ISTE Certified Administrator and Google Certified Educator. Tiffany is passionate about empowering teachers with the tools and strategies to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences.

Pana Asavavatana is the PK–1 technology and design coach at Taipei American School. She believes strong relationships are key to meaningful learning and schoolwide growth. A founding member of AAICIS and leader of #WomenEd Taiwan, she is passionate about coaching and creating supportive spaces for educators. Pana is an Apple Distinguished Educator and ISTE award recipient, and has led global projects like the Traveling Teddy Project and The Early Years Exchange.

Gina is an Instructional Technology Coach in the Fond du Lac School District who empowers digital-age learners through student-centered, innovative environments. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marian University and is a Google Certified Trainer and Seesaw Certified Educator. Gina also serves on Wisconsin DPI’s Academic Standards Writing Committee for InformationTechnology Literacy, helping shape future-ready learning standards statewide.

Carla Jefferson is the proud founding principal of the Darlington County Virtual Academy for the Darlington County School District in South Carolina. A 24-year veteran educator, she’s been a classroom teacher, curriculum facilitator, and district-level administrator. Her motto, “Why Not Darlington?“, inspired by a colleague, motivates her to fight for digital equity, not only for the children of Darlington County but children all over.

Erin Wakshlag, Senior Director of Curriculum at Seesaw Learning, has dedicated her career to equity in education. She taught for 8 years in a Title 1, EL-majority school before earning her M.A. in Educational Leadership from UC Berkeley’s Principal Leadership Institute. She later served as a district TK–5 literacy and ELD coordinator, focusing on social justice and culturally sustaining practices to empower students and communities.

Gabbie is the Manager of Curriculum Development and Operations at Seesaw. Before joining the Seesaw Team she received her B.S. in Business Administration and M.A. in Elementary Education. Her career has been dedicated to creating joyful and impactful learning experiences to help our youngest learners create positive connections with learning through her time teaching and developing enrichment focused after-school programs within Title 1 districts.

Brittany Jones is the current leader for Instructional Technology for Waller Independent School District located outside of Houston, Texas. She is an alum of Emory University, Relay Graduate School of Education and Teach for America. In Waller ISD, she supports instructional technology programs, and staff members with coaching and training.

Ali brings 11 years of public education experience, including eight years as a classroom teacher, to her role as a technology integration coordinator. For the past two years, she has supported technology implementation across all elementary schools in a 19,000-student district. A Seesaw Certified Educator since 2017, Ali currently serves as the district's Seesaw Administrator, demonstrating her expertise in leveraging technology for student learning.

Wiley Blevins has a Doctorate in Education. He studied at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Bowling Green State University. He is an author, educational consultant, and researcher, and has taught both in the United States and South America. Wiley has written over 17 books for teachers, including A Fresh Look at Phonics, Phonics from A to Z, Differentiating Phonics Instruction for Maximum Impact, and Choosing and Using Decodable Texts. He has authored several phonics and reading programs and wrote the phonics brief by the International Literacy Association (Meeting the Challenges of Early Literacy Phonics Instruction). Wiley's current focus is on adaptive technology, differentiated professional development, and children's literature. Wiley has written over 100 children's books and is SVP and Associate Publisher at Reycraft Books, a new imprint focused on publishing books by authors and illustrators from under-represented groups.

Grace O'Shea is a former middle school science teacher and an early advocate for the power of education technology in the classroom. Now serving as Product Manager, Instruction and Insights at Seesaw Learning, she brings years of experience building impactful EdTech solutions. Grace has led product work across a wide range of areas—including curricula design, assessment tools, reporting, content libraries, search infrastructure, and data systems.

Claire Voigtlander is a former middle and high school art teacher and an early adopter of EdTech—testing the earliest versions of Seesaw with her students in the classroom. After transitioning out of the classroom, Claire spent the past 10 years at Seesaw, first in Support and now as Product Manager for the Rostering and Integrations team. She brings deep educator empathy to her work, advocating for administrators by streamlining workflows and improving system interoperability—so they can focus on enabling their teams, not fighting their tools.

David focuses on complex market research and analysis on emerging markets in the education and corporate training sector. With 20 years in education, he's worked on charter school policy, helped build SchoolNet's K-12 learning management systems, and represented educational agencies on federal matters as an attorney. A Kenyon College and GW Law graduate, David presents at national conferences and lives in DC with his family.

Dr. Marguerite Roza is a Professor at Georgetown and leads Edunomics Lab, which focuses on school finance. She's also a Senior Advisor at Whiteboard Advisors. She runs Georgetown's Certificate in Ed Finance and authored Educational Economics: Where Do School Funds Go? She was an Economic Advisor to the Gates Foundation and a Lieutenant in the US Navy teaching thermodynamics at Nuclear Power School. She earned a PhD at University of WA, a BS at Duke, and studied at the London School of Economics.

Matt Given is an experienced education technology executive and CEO of Seesaw. With over two decades in professional education and technology roles, Given started his career as a teacher where his passion for education quickly propelled him into management and senior leadership roles.
Prior to his career at Seesaw, Given held the role of CEO at CeriFi, where he led the company’s portfolio of training and certification companies, collectively serving financial planning, insurance and securities professionals and organizations. Given also spent the decade prior in various C-level positions within education technology businesses, including Gylnlyon, Catapult Learning, EdisonLearning and Kaplan.
Given has been recognized for his educational policy expertise, including his successful influence on legislation in multiple states and testifying on the authorization of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) in front of a full committee hearing at the U.S. House of Representatives, Education and the Workforce Committee. He has frequent press and public speaking engagements and has lectured on educational policy at Tufts University.

Dr. South, Chief Innovation Officer at ISTE+ASCD, is an internationally recognized educational technology leader focused on evidence-based learning transformation. He leads initiatives that include providing professional learning for educators and students to design artificial intelligence applications, identifying quality indicators for ed tech solutions that lead to better buying decisions, and certifying educators in the ISTE Standards.

Elisa Torres-Barton, Ed.D., is a passionate educational leader and UDL Implementation Specialist with over 25 years of experience. She champions equity, inclusion, and English Learner advocacy, and currently serves as Director of the California Coalition for Inclusive Learning at CAST, supporting educators in creating inclusive practices at both classroom and system levels. Elisa is also a proud mother of three and life partner to Dave, grounding her work in both heart and purpose.

Alissa Mwenelupembe has worked in early childhood education for the past 20 years and has a long history with NAEYC as a member, volunteer, author and past student governing board member. That engagement took on another level when she joined NAEYC in December of 2020 as the Senior Director, Early Learning Program Accreditation. Alissa now serves on NAEYC’s Executive Team as Chief Early Learning & Quality Research Officer.

Evo spent much of his career working with states, districts and schools to help them develop and implement effective school turnaround, after-school, online, and blended-learning programs. He most recently served as chief innovation officer and an assistant commissioner for the New Jersey Department of Education. Before that, he was SVP of Achievement Solutions at EdisonLearning Inc. He also helped Edison develop and manage its school improvement and online learning and assessment solutions.
